The Tongariro arrived from London, via the Cape and Hobart, at 4 o'olook this afternoon. She left Plymouth on the 13th October, r anta Cruz 24th October, Capetown Bth November, and Hobart at 8.40 p.m. on the 27th. Until arriving at Hobart Bhe encountered variable winds, but after leaving that port experienced aN.E. gale with heavy sea and much rain. The following ore the officers : — Commander, Mr J. Bone ; chief officer, Mr Milward ; second officer, Mr Denton; surgeon, Dr Williams; chief engineer, Mr Adamson; captain's clerk, Mr Beaumont.
