Well/IKqion, October 31. Tho cattlo entered for tho day's sale were generally of indifferent quality, witli tho exception of ono lino of 18 head, which wero fairly good. Some of tho bullocks could only bo classed as good forward stores. Wo again adviso our numorousclionUto forward well fattened cattlo only, as thoso of poor quality are unsatisfactory both to buyer and seller. Beef mado 15s tho lOOlbs. In sheep tho feature of tho snlo was another lino of inforior and woll fattened mutton wethers (shorn) of Mr Robortson's, fl hioh mndo good rates. A number of light weight wethers woro penned, and brought ft shade ovor last wcok's prices. Tho lambs wero not woll futted, but sold at full values. Pigs were veil competed for and maintained recent prices. Cattle. — Bullocks, tho beat lino brought from £6 2s 6d to £G 12s 6d, averaging £G 9s sd ; othor averages, £5 19s 4d, £5 13s, and £'4 16s 9d ; veal calves woro almost unBivloable. Siikkp.— Mr Robortson's (shorn) wethers, 13s (id to 14s Id ; wothors, 8s 4d to 11s ; shorn small owes, 7s 4dj ewes in wool, 13s ; lambs, v's lOd to 7s lid. Pias.— Baconors, 3Gs to 41s; porkois, 18s to 29a ; stores, 12a 6d to 15s Gd.
