Beisba^e, April 27. — Abraham Sreet, tho confidential clerk to a well-known wholesale firm, wns to-day committed for trial on twenty charges of embezzling moneys, the propel ty of his employers. The amount involved is said to be several thousands.
CooKTOWN.ApriI 27 — The Lizzard, which. struck a reef to the northward of here on Wednesday morning, has been floated off without sustaining any injury, and has returned to port.
