SrDNEV, April 24— M. Pasteur's representative has disclosed to tho Rabbit Conference the outline of M. Pasteur's scheme. It is proposed to cultivate microbes brought from France, and spread the poison on herbage in rabbit-infested districts. In the event of a scarcity of natural food, artificial fodder will bo used. Rabbits taking poisoned food, will die in twenty-four or thirty hours after, and their death will communicate tho diseaso to other rabbits, so that tho virus will spread by a natural process. It is not anticipated that any danger will aris 0 from tho deeomposilion of the rabbits killed, as upon feeling the effects of the poison they will retreat to tho burrows, and die thoro, being practically buried. Experiments will bo commenced immediately on sheep, horses, goats, and a variety of other animals, and will probably extend over a period of two months.
