CHRISTCHURCH.

January 7. The boat Dream capsized in Lyttel on harbour, near Little Port Cooper about noon to-day. Her crew consisted of Peter Highland, O. C. Poulson, and Peter Anderson; the last named w«a drown :d. The two who were saved were picked up by the ketch Minnie and pat on board ;he s.o. Canterbury. The boat waa in stajf at the time of the acoident and was oaught by a squall off the land. It was reported t lat J. Sinclair was aboard, but this turned >ut to be incorrect.
