No entry will be received for »ny raco except upon this condition— that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be deoided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final, All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Hon. Secrettry, Hawera, entrance money eriolosed, with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and, in oase of handicaps, performances of the horse, mmc of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined 3 soys. Post marks will not be received in future under any pretence whatever, and nominations nnpsid at the time of the due date of ! weights will be stsuck out of the list. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn. Any person neglectI ing or refuting to comply with this role sbail pay a fine of 2 soys to the race fund. All races to be run under the new Rules i of Racing. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes. Qualification fco for non-members residing in the Hawora County to be £2 ; those residing outside of the county, free. No other nomination will be received under any pretence whatever after the time specified for closing. All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Cterk of the Scales one half-hour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay ojiae not exceeding 5 soys to the race fund. In all races the second horse only saves hia stakes when it is specially mentioned.
