DUNEDIN HORSE MARKET.

Hessbs Weight, Stepbensoi.', and Co. report as follows : — For last Saturday's sale 80 horses came forward, including a number ol country lots, chiefly light harness horses. For these there was good competition, at prices however showing a slight decline on late rates. Spring cart horses and first-class heavy draught geldings continue scarce, and any coining forward would command ready sale at quotations, which are as follow : — Firstclass heavy draughts, £22 to £26 ; medium, £14 to £20 ; liget draughts and spring cart horses, £12 to £16; first-class hacks and light harness horses, £15 to £20; medium, £7 to £10; inferior and aged £10 10s to £5.
