THE T\AVEY SAFETY TITOTOR. REQUIRES NO SPECIAL ATTENTION. S3T Cannot possibly explode, "5* The DAVEY MOTOR is acknowledged to be the Best and Cheapest Small Power Engine in the market. Its perfect simplicity and its great economy in comparison with other sm»U motors, are amongst thechief advantages of this invention. The Motor is a vacuum engine of simple construction, its power being derived from the condensation of steam at the atmospheric pressure. It has a c generator, in which there is not any more pressure than there is in an ordinary tea kettle. The vacuum is obtained by means of a small supply of cold water, which may be obtained either from the mains or from a stream or well at a lower level by means of a circulating pump. If coke be used for fuel, the fire box may be filled to the top, and the Motor will then run for hours without further attention. The consumption of coke is about 61bs per hour per horse power.
