Marton, April 17. Our stock sale at the Club Yards yeßterday was well attended, but the bidding was not brisk. We had some difficulty in extracting bids of any kind for cattle. Sheep, however, ■old better, but at a reduced valuet We quitted all the pens either at or after the ■ale. 250 head of cattle and 2,000 Bbeep and 12 pigs made up onr list. We quote — Fat oows, £3 ss ; oows and calves, 35s to 435 ; two«year spcyed heifers, $2 6a; 2-year ateen, £3 ; 18-monthß' (mixed) £2 2s 6d ; weaners, 21s to 245 ; fat wethers, 8s to 8s 6d ; ■ fltore wethers, 7s to 7s 6d ; breeding ewes, 4s to 5s 3d ; lambs, 3s to 4s. We sold the racing hook, Motueki, for 20 guineas.
