INFORMATION WANTED. -VERY IMPORTANT.
(per united press association.)
New Plymouth, Dec 8.
A bird, which proved to be an English swift, has been shot at the White Cliffs. There were three others with it. No birds of the species have been imported here, and information is solicited as to whether they have been seen elsewhere. [We are afraid it is now all over with poor Taranaki, The swift evidently means misohief when it cornea in this mysterious way.]
