The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London office dated 25th November :—: —

Wool.— The stvlea closed to-day (29th November) at the level of last salea except for the following sorts, viz., clothing washed, short staple merino scoured, short staple merino heavy in grease, and coarse scoured crossbred, for all of wh,ich the market is easier. The sales fcomprise about 135,000 bales. 10,000 bales have been held over for future disposal. 70,000 bales have been taken for export. The Continental demand is good, but the Home trade are purchasing sparingly. ' Wheat-— New crop, Adelaide, to arrive perlronsbip, is worth, ci.f., 34s 6d per 4801 b, January bill of lading. Tallow. — The market is flat. Mutton and beef are both worth 34s per cwt. Leather. — Market drooping. Best sides are worth lljd per lb.
