Feb 26." The religious instruction classes at the State Schools started some months ago by the city clergy, are still carried on, but the attendances since the vacation have not been large, and it is admitted bat, the movement is a failure. A meeting of the clergy will j be held shortly to consider the question of stopping the classes. Vl Feb 27. The Marlboroueh for London took 10,300 carcasses of frozen meat for the New Zealand and Australian Land Company. News from Central Otago states that last night was a fearful night of wind and rain. The Molyneux rose twelve feet to-day at Alexandra South.
