The Rowena left Opunake for this port at 10.15 this morniug. She leaves for Onehunga , on Monday at midnight. The Stormbird arrived at Wellington this morning at 10.50. The ship Piako 114 days out from London v arrived at Auckland yesterday. The ship Nelson left Dunedin for London yesterday. ggThe Wallabi left Greymouth on Thursday morning, and made fast to the Wharf at 12 o'clock last nisht. After leaving the Grey 'Bhe experienced strong north winds and heavy seas to the Cape, then light south-east breezes to arrival. The agent for the steamers Huia and a Tui ■announces elsewhere that the above steamers will leave Wanganui regularly during the Christmas holidays, carrying passengers at the reduced rate of 355, including return. • The N.Z.L. ani M.A. Company, as agents for the Stormbird, offer a singular inducement. • The Huia left Wellington at 5.45 p.m. yesterday, and arrived here this morning at 10.30, having encountered strong head winds and heavy seas during the passage. She brought 25 tons of general cargo, and returns to-night at 10.30 with a cargo of wool and wheat. The Oreti, which left Greymouth on Thursday evening at 7 o'clock with 120 tons of coal for Messrs Kennedy Bros., arrived off the bar this morning at 4 o'clock. After leaving the Grey she experienced heavy sea and strong winds for eight hours, then light S.W. breezes to arrival. She sails for Dunedin on Monday morning with a cargo of live stock shipped by Mr Ross.
