Received Nov 7, 10 p.m. MELBOURNE MARKETS. | Melbourne, Nov 7. — The manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand (limited) reports of the local grain market as follows : — Wheat depressed, shipping parcels, 4s 3d ; malting barley, 4s 8d to 5s sd, quotations are nominal j New Zealand oats quiet, feeding sorts, 2s lOd to 33 Id ; milling sorts, 3s Id to 3s 2d. At their wool sale this week, Messrs Goldsborough and Co. sold 4500 ba'es ; greasy merino brought up to 14d ; scoured pieces to 18£ d. SHIPPING. Per Merchant Shipping and Underwriters Association : — London, Nov 5. — Ai rived : Ships Aaster, from Port Chalmers (July 25); Lyttelton, form Port Chalmers (August 20) ; Dunscore, from Lyttelton (July 27) ; Rangitikei, from Timaru (July 28). The ship Mirzapore, which went ashore afc Boulogne last month, has been successfully floated. Albany, Nov 7. — Arrived, this morning — P. and O. Eteamship Indus, with the Suez mails, which left London on Oct 5. ACCIDENT TO A STEAMER. The Melbourne Steamship Company's steamer Rondondo, bound from this port to Sydney, struck the Lonsdale Reef last night but got off safely, and has been beached. All the passengers and crew were landed safely. Received Nov 8, 12.40 p.m. Nov 8. — The steamship Rodondo, which went ashore on Lonsdale Reef on Tuesday night, and was subsequently beached, is now full of water, and her position is deemed very critical.
