NEW ZEALAND GRAND NATIONAL STEEPLECHASE.
TIMARU, NOV 1. The New Zealand National Steeplechase annual meeting of members of the club was held last evening. There was a good attendance. Mr Boyle's motion to hold the annual meeting year after year at the same place was lost. The next annual meeting was fixed for May 24th, 1884, at Christchurch. The following notice of motion was &*ven : "That the annual meetings after ISB4 be held at one and the same place, and that the secretary bs instructed to ascertain from the Christchurch, Dunedin, and other clubs what facilities they can offer."
