Oct 29. — Intelligence has been received that cholera has appeared at Mecca, and that already several deaths have occurred. MASSACRE OP EGYPTIANS BY REBEL HILLMEN. News to hand from Sou akin, a sea port of the Red Sea, states that a large body of rebel Hillmon has surprised the town and massacred 150 Egyptian soldiers stationed near there. RUMORED ABDICATION OP THE KING OP PORTUGAL. Madbid, Oet 29. — There is a report current here to-day that King Louis of Portugal intends to abdicate at an early date. MR GLADSTONE. London, Oct 29.— 1t is stated that Mr Gladstone will spend the winter at Cannes, in the south of Prance. Received Oct 21, 1.10 a.m. Oct 30.— The report that Mr Gladstone would winter at Cannes proves to be withj out foundation. AUSTRALIAN WINES IN GERMANY.
