Tennent, who has taken over . the auctioneer and agency business lately carried on by Messrs Harris Bros., of Marton, recently disposed of a £-acre of ground, with f oar-roomed house erected thereon, in Marton, for £250 ; also, the goodwill of a lease, with eighteen years to run, at £80. The business will still be carried on in the name of the former proprietors, and Mr Tennent has decided on adopting the system of holding weekly sales on Saturdays.
