. At the City Court, Barnett and Green were fined £5 each for aiding in working the totalisator.
Eight farmers in the Taieri district have been fined for not taking sufficient steps for the extermination of rabits.
The following names are mentioned as candidates for the Peninsula : — Messrs Larnach, Cutten, E. B. Cargill, A. J. Burns, Donelly, G, Mcßride Mayor of South Dunedin.
