Cross-examined— I can't be sure about the time, but I was going to Jackson's sale. It was not after 11 o'clock.
Messrs Bornicoat and Hutchison then addressed the Jury on behalf of their respective clients, and His Honor having summed up, the Jury, retired to consider their verdict.
After deliberating for more than four hours, the Jury returned a verdict for the defendant with costs.
An application for a fresh trial was refused.
