MR FREEMAN R.< JACKSON'S FORTNIGHTLY STOCK REPORT.

My yards to-day were fairly filled with stock The competition was brisk, and prices on the whole were in favor of the sellers. The beef was of prime quality, and elicited animated bidding, the result being a capi.al Bale for the vendors. Store cattle were rather better worth, although the quality was not so B °Sheep advanced fully Is per head, and with the exception of one or two pens, were all sold rapidly under the hammer at the quotations below. Horses were dull of aale, very few coming forward.
The quotations are : — Cattle.— l 62 head were penned. Fat bullooks, L 9 10s to Ll3 10s ; cows; L7ss to L 8 sa ; store three year old steers. Ls7s 6d to L 5 15s ; cows, in low condition, L 3 7s 6d ; cows and calves, L6ss ; yearlings, L 2 IBs. The fat cattle were from Messra Owen and Lethbridge's station, and realised the top price for this season. Sheep.— 64o came forward. Fat wethers, 12s 9d to 13s 6d ; ewes and wethers, 10s to 10s 6d. TC . Horses.— Draught, L 35;3 5; hacks, L sto L 10:1 0: screws, 25s to 30s. EXPOET3.— IOI head cattle, 300 sheep, 296 pigs.
