Bombay, Sept 9. The defence of the British Residency at Oabul wasjstubborn, and attended with great loss to the attacking party of Oabulese. An unsuccessful attempt was made by the Cabulese to storm the building, and they finally fired the doorway and swarmed in, and killed the defenders.
