THE FIRE AT DUNEDIN. RECOVERY OF THE BODIES.

DuNEDiN,'Sept 9. The following is a list of those whose remains were recovered from the fire :—: — Robert Wilson 59, Sarah Wilson 49, Fred Wilson 19, Sarah Wilson 8, Lawrence Wilaon 4, Margaret McCartney 19, Geo. Augustus Marten 23, John Taylor 20, man unidentified, supposed to' be Swan, also man and boy unknown.
Later.
■ A portion of the remains of another person have been recovered from the debris of the fire, making the eleventh; They were that of a young man. W. B. Dodson, head bailiff R.M. Court, is missing. He is supposed to have been lost at the fire.
The Star says there is not the slightest reason for suspecting incendiarism.
INSURANCES.
The fire was confined to the buildings known as Ross's, near Octagon. The insurances so far as known are — Union, £1350 ; Standard, £1000 ; National, £1450; Norwich Union, £1300; Ticfcoria, £200 ; Hanseatic, £400 ; New Zealand, £200 ; total, £5,700.
Mr Waters estimates his loss at £300 over his insurance of £400. M. Dietoff, musjc .teaoher, was the only person so situated who was insured.
All those who were lodging on the premises lose everything.
