Wanganui, May 15, 1879. There are little or no changes to note in the market; Potatoes for keeping have an onward tendency and are in good supply. There is a good enquiry for butter. I quote wholesale prices :— Oats, 3s 9d to 4s fair to best ; wheat, fowl feed, 2s 9d ; barley, 6a ; potatoes, L6 los to L 7 10s ; carrots, L 5 to L 5 10s ; bran, L 6; pollard, 1.6 15s to L 7 10s; jrye-grasfl, 8s 6d ;'cocksfoot, 6s 6d ; chaff, L 7 ; hay, L 4 10s.
