MASONIC CEREMONY.

INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS — ST.

ANDREW KILWINNING LODGE.

The officers elect of the St. Andrew Kilwinning Lodge, No. 481 S.C., were installed in their respective chairs at an emergency meeting held at the Institute on Friday evening. The attendance of the brethren was exceptionally good, many visitors from the Tongariro Lodge alao assembling, P.M. Bro. M. V. Hodge officiated as Installing Officer, delivering the several charges in a most impressive manner. The following officers were duly installed : — Bro. J. Wilson as R.W.M. ; Bro. J. H. Horn as Deputy Master ; Bro. R. Reid as Substitute, Master ; Bro, R. Law asS. W. ; Bro. H. L. Nicholas, J.W. ; Bro. Pinches, S.D. j Bro. T. Bush, J.D. ; Bro. G. McOaul, Secretary ; Bro. J. L. Stevenson, Treasurer ; Bro. Jno. Stevenson, Organist ; Bro. G. F. Allen, Chaplain ; Bros. H, Morrow and J: McLaren, Stewards, Bro. W. D. Shaw 1.J. ; and Bro. Harvey, Tyler. The ceremony was performed with full choral service, Bro. Jno Stevenson presiding at the harmonium, and Bros. Allen, Baker, Culpan, Pinches, Stevefesbn, and Nicholas, taking part in the Anthems.

During the evening opportunity was taken, to present to P.M. Henry Nathan a very handsome and valuable Masonic jewel. The presentation was mada by Bro. J. H« Horn, in the name of the brethren of the Lodge. The jewel on the reverse side bears the inscription :— • "Presented to Bro. P.M., Clenry Nathan by the brethren, of S.
