Sharemarket; — Bank of New Zealand, £25 ; National, 82s ; Colonial 60s ; Loan and Mercantile, 120s ; New Zealand Insurance, 92s 6d } South British, 72s ; National. 28s ; Standard, 235 ; Union, 16s ; Auckland Timber Co., 116s ; Guthrie and Larnach, 665. Biafley reports no animation in the market. JPlour, stagnant, and impossible to move, excepting in small parcels ; quotations, £11 to £11 10s. Wheat, 4s 9d ; millers are well supplied. Bran and sharps out of the market ; oats show a downward tendency ; in fact, large shipments are afloat ; 4s 6d present quotations. Oatmeal, 22s ; pearl barley, 245 ; Canterbury potatoes, £6 to £6 10s ; local djtto, £5 10s to £6 ; butter in demand at Is Id ; cheese, 5Jd to 6|d ; bacon, cloth, Is 2d ; ditto, bare, 7d to Bd. At a sale by auction this day, maize, ex Gael, 1000-bags, realised 4s 3d per bushel.
