I.— The Wanganui Jockey Club rules will be strictly adhered to. 2. — All disputes to be settled by the Stewards, whose decision shall be final. 3. — Persons lodging a protest will place £1 in the hands of the Secretary on making the same, which money will be forfeited if siich protest be deemed by the Stewards frivolous or unjust. 4. — All persons intending to withdraw horses are requested to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, at least fifteen minutes before the hour of starting. 5. — Any jockey riding except in the colour entered will be fined 3 soys. 6. — Nominations and acceptances will i not be received after the time stated, under any pretence whatever. 7. — Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys paid, in accordance with the programme, for expenses. 8. — All entries should be made on the Club's printed froms, which can be ob,ained from the Secretary,or at his offices Wanganui. Nominations for the Wanganui Jockey Club Handicap addressed to the Secretary, must be made on or before 8 p.m. on Thursday, the Bth February, 1877. Weights to be declared on the 19th of February, Acceptances and general entries close at Anderson's Hotel at 8 p.m., March 5, 1877. WANGANUI DfcRBY OF 1880.
