ConsoLATioN Stakes of £20; entrance 1 guinea ; for all beaten horses ; handicap ; l£ miles ;to start at 4 p.m. RULES. 1. — The Wanganui Jockey Club rules will be strictly adhered to. 2. — All disputes to be settled by the Stewards, whose decision shall be final. 3. — Persons lodging a protest will place £1 in the hands of the Secretary on making the same, which money will be forfeited if such protest be deemed by the Stewards frivolous or unjust. 4. — All persons intending to withdraw horses are requested to give notice to that effect to the Secretary, at least fifteen minutes before the hour of starting. : 6. — Any jockey riding except in the colour entered will be fined 3 soys. 6. — Nominations and acceptances will not be received after the time stated, under any pretence whatever. [ 7. — Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys paid, in accordance with the programme, for expenses. ! 8. — All entries should be made on the \ Club's printed froms, which can be ob- > ained from the Secretary, or at his offices Wanganui.
