Thursday, Feb. 22. The auctioneers report a capital attendance of buyers, although prices ruled slightly lower. Every hoof yarded was sold. They quote cattle— Well -grown 2-year-old steers, in fair condition, £5 2s 6d ; well-bred heifers, 12 and 18 months, £3 2s 6d ; steers, 15 to 18 months, £3 5s ; cows, in low condition, £4 2s 6d. Sheep— Mixed, 5s 6d ; culls, 5s ; shorn lambs, ss ; large frame fat wethers, 9s 6d. Horses dull of sale.
