Captain Uishop, formerly of the ship Halcio.ie, is dead.

inundations in Get-many caused fearful dainag'o. Over seven hundred jives were lo.st, and houses were Hooded to tho rook. Tho inhabitants barely escaped with their lives.
The ship Strathclyde collided with another vessel in the Channel and sunk. Tho steamer Harlingen during the following night struck the mists of a sunken ship, and sank in 15 minutes.
