The Mayor proposed that a deputation of the Council should draw up an address to Sir Julius Yogel on behalf of the Corporation and burgesses of the town, and thought that they should ask the Premier to do something to enable them to remember his visit to Wanganui by giving a guarantee to enable them to send for a gas plant.
