KELLS, WHILST acknowledging with gratitude the very liberal patronage accorded him since ha commenced business, in liis late premises on Taupo Quay, regrets to have to announce that, in consequence of ill-health, he is reluctantly compelled to retire therefrom, and having disposed of the business hitherto carried on by him, to Mr P. BUCKTHOUGHT, he now solicits a continuance of that support with which he himself has been so abundantly favoured. N. B. — Mr Buckthought's receipt will also be recognised by Mr Eel Is as a sufficient discharge of any account j.>aid to him. SPECIAL INTIMATION. In reference to the above, P. Buckthought in announcing that he has purchased the' Goodwill and Business l.itely carried on by Mr VV. Kells, assures the public cf Wanganui, and his old personal freinds in particular, that Ins efforts in future will be directed towards securing a permanent continuance of the suppor-t received by Mr Kells .while in .business, and also of his intention to keep none but the best quality of good's obtainable in each department. Previous to enlarging and altering the present premises, and in order to make room for an extensive Winter Stock already : ordered ' and shortly to arrive, it has been decided to offer the whole of the present Stock at pi ices which must ensure a speedy and entire clearance, as -the Goods will be re-marked, regardless of .cost price. , This is a genuine intimation, and. the public will find it to their advantage to, ' make such purchases ' as they may require without dela} r , as the Goods are being sold at; a sacrifice for the 1 reasons above'mentioned.
