Entrances, 4 soys ; Distance, 2 miles; weight for age; open to all comer?. 3rd.—Scurry, 10 dovs. Pus" entries, . 1 soy ; weight for age ; winner to be sold for 25 soys"; surplus to go to the Jockey Club Fund. 4th.—Ladies 1 Purse, 40 soys. Distance, 1^ miles : welter weights ; gentlemen riders. Entrance, 3 soys. SECOND DAY. Ist.—Hurdle Race. 40 soys. Entrances, 3 soys; distance, 2 miles, over 8 flights of ordiimr : sheep hurdles, 3 it 9in in heighiy welter weio-lits. 2nd.—Hack Hurdle Race, 10 soys. Enhance, 1 soy ;' distance, once round the course, over 5 flights of ordinary sheep hurdles, 3ft 9in in heiuht; weight for age ; open to all horses that have not ran fora stake of 10 soys. or over. 3rd.—Jockey Club Handicap,7ssoys added to a sweep of 4 soys, and 2 soys nomination ; distance, 2-1-miles. Entries closed with 14 nominations. Acceptances to be sent in before 9 p.m. on Thursday, the 26th of October. 4th.—Forced Handicap for winning , Bosses, 25 soys ; distance, 1 mile and a distance ; entrances for winner. 2 soys ; losing horses ajlowpd to enter at half-price. In the event of a walk over, only one half of the stakes will be paid. Date of general entries Ist of November at 7 o'clock p.m. Qualifications of non-members far entering- horses, £2 2s. All protests must he made in writing, within a quarter of an hour of the completion of the race, accompanied by 1 soy. to be forfeited if the protest is deemed frivolous. lv all cases of dispute, the dicision of the Stewards to *>c. final. The Rules of the- Club will be strictly adhered to. l§_r Horses having-previously run for advertised money are not eligible for hack racing.
