The block, is traversed by the Waitara-Wanganui' Railway, now in course of construction; and it is expected to be completed to the township of Ingle wood, at the. commencement of the Block, in about eighteen months. This line will render the land easily accessible from Waitara. or New Plymouth. In the mean time a good road is being formed; by ; the Provincial Government, and the ■: district roads will also be opened up a chain wide through the forest,, so as to make each allotment accessible from the main line of railway, thus retaining a considerable proportion of the money derived from the sale of the land to the district in making local improvements.
The land is well adapted to working settlers of small capital, as it is easily accessible, has abundance of timber for building, fencing, fuel, and shelter 3 never failing streams^of water, and a very productive soil.
