WANGANUI BOROUGH COUNCIL! QUEEN'S WARD. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN,-that in consequence of the resignation of Mr P. A. Clievannes, an Extraordinary Vacancy has occurred in the above Ward, and an election to supply the same will take place at the Council Office, Marketplace, on THURSDAY, the 9th day of October next. All Candidates at such electon must be nominated before Friday, the 26th day of September current. Any person desirous of .nominating a candidate must, before 4 o'clock in the afternoon of Thursday, the 25th day of September current, deliver to the Returning Officer, at the Council Office, a nomination paper in the prescribed form which must be signed by not less than three persons duly qualified to vote at such election, and also by the person named therein as a candidate in token of.his assent to be so nominated.
