In the House last night, the Crown Lands Act, 18GG, Amendment Bill Heni Tareha Matangi Grant Validation Bill read, second time, committed and read third time.

1866, Amendment Bill removing disqualification of Secretary of Lands from sitting in the House passed Committee with amendment providing that the Secretaryship should be held by a Minister.-

Immigrants Land Bill read second time. On a motion to iio into Committee of Supply, Hurray moved that a radical change was required in the administration of immigration, but after a discussion the motion was withdrawn.

Estimates further proceeded with, and Miscellaneous, Militia and Volunteers, and Charges on defence loan passed,
