CHARCOAL. IMPORTANT TO BREWERS, FOUN DEES, BLACKSMITHS, AND HOUSEHOLDERS. F|pEE undersigned begs to inform th, X Inhabitants of Wangamii that thei have commenced the Manufacture of Charcoal in this district, for which purpose the hard woods abounding in the vicinity are peculiarly adopted. Parties using this fuel will find it more economical than firewood for ordinary purposes, and in American stoves, drawing-room, parlour, or office grates, it gives a clear, brilliant, and intense heatjL superior to coals and much cheaper. The use of charcoal will also obviate the danger attending foul or smokey chimneys; which is a great desideratum in timber buildings. A supply for retail constantly kept on hand at Mr Aamodt's Coal Yard, Wilson Street. Also ground charcoal for casting, charcoal dust for manure and deodorizing purposes, &c. Prices as follows :— Manuka Charcoal per bag 3s 6d. 20 bags and over 3s reduction made for large orders. STEWART AND LOYERIDGE. Charcoal Manufacturers, No. 2 Line Wanganui. Nov. 22,1871.
