WELLINGTON.
Mavcli 10, 4.54 p.m. A new company has been formed for constructing the patent slip. Sir C. Clifiord has been empowered by Kinnaird to sell the materials at Evans' Bay at a valuation, to be paid in stock of the new company. The Patent Slip Bill has passed the second reading.
Fitzherbert consents to stand for the Superintendency.
The Governor has received word from Lord Kimberiey that the Black Sea question causes no apprehension. A petition was lodged to-day against the election of Hunter and Pearce.
