RAKGitncra Plate of £—Entrance, £2 ; open to all horses bred in the province of Wellington ; distance two miles and a-half; weight for age. 5: Flax Mill Purse op £ open to all horses, to be handicapped by the stewards • top weight list 71b ; distance two miles. 6. Tkotting Race of £ —Post entrance of ,£1 ; distance three miles, catch weights, 7. Consolation Stakes of £ £1. Open to all horses that have run at the present meeting, and not won; distance, one-and-a-half miles; weight for age. _ Entrance for the Produce and Rangitikci Plate, to take place at the Rangitikci Hotel, on Saturday, 13th March, and to close at 7 o'clock p.m. sharp. All entries to bo sealed, and addressed to the Secretary of the Race Meeting. AH entries for the other races to be made in like manner at the Handley Arms Hotel, Thursday, the 16th March, before 7 o'clock p.m. Any person entering a protest must do so-iu writing, accompanied by the sum of £1 , which will be forfeited if the protest prove frivolous. Three horses, the hona fide property of different owners, to start for each race, or no money will bo given. Jockeys to appear in Jockey costume, under a penalty-of ton shillings. No person allowed to run a horse unless a subscriber of £1 to the Race . Fund. The rules and regulations of the late Waucaaui Jockey Club will bo adhered to. The decision of the Stewards to be final.
