.Donald Gunn was charged by John Kells with desertion from the guides at the front.

The prisoner denied the charge. Constable Coakley being sworn said : I apprehended the prisoner by instructions from Sergeant Bezar, who said he was instructed by Major Noake. The prisoner was handed over to John Kells, as representing the iV ilitia office.
