Wjcsleyan Chorch, Sprikgvale.—: The first anniversary of this Church was celebrated on: Good-Friday. ' The day being a public holiday, many availed themselves of the opportunity to join in "the celebration. The Sundayschool children assembled during the afternoon, and after joining in games at 4 p.m. received their annual treat. At 5 30 p.m., tea was provided for the congregation and visitors, and about seventy persons partook of the good things that were provided. After tea, a. public, meeting was held, when the church was completely filled. The Kev'. Mr Morley presided, and suitable addresses were delivered by the Eev. G-. Stannard and Messrs. Sharpe, Williams, and Earle. A vote of thanks to the Ladies terminated the proceedings.
