The medicinal action of the Ponders are as follows :-—^Shortly after having- taken the proportionate-dose the patient may-expect to feel somewhat squeamish, Purging-, unattended with pain or danger, which will continue for a short time, when the Worms may be looked for. Note.—These Powders are likewise excellent as ia family Aperient Medicine, given in doses about two-thirds or one-half less than that prescribed for Worms. Dibections.—For Children : Two years old, half a powder ; from two to six years, one powder and upwards in proportion. As an Aperient to Regulate the Bowels: Two years old, a fourth part of a powder-; from two to six 3'ears, half a,powder and upwards in proportion. To be taken in the morning, fasting.
