Foul Breath, Perspiration, Headache, Dilation of the Pupils of the Eyes,"Bleeding from the ; Nostrils Squinting,, Hardness, Swelling and Rumbling in the Belly, Pinching and Gnawing of the Stomach, Itching and Irritation in the Nose and Navel, &c, which leads the patient to pick and scratch those parts j Head Symptoms, Convulsions^ Ptya^ism, #c. The medicinal action of the Powders are as follows: —Shortly after having taken the proportionate dose the patient may expect ; to feel somewhat squeamish, Purging, unattended with pain or danger, which will continue for a. snort1 time, when the Worms may be looked for. ; Note,—-These Powders are likewise excellent as a family Aperient Medicine, given in doses about two-thirds or one-half less than that prescribed for Worms. Directions.—For Children : Two years old, half a ppwder; from two to six years, one powder and upwards in proportion. As an Aperient to Regulate the IJowels : Two years old, ,a fourth part of a powder; from two to six years, half a powder and upwards in proportion.
