RECEPTION COMMITTEE.
A Government Gazette, issued recently contains the appointment, by his Excellency the. governor, of the following gentlemen to be Reception Commissioners, to devise and carry into effect all necessary arrangements for a fitting reception of His Royal Highness the Duke of "Edinburgh, and for paying suitable marks of respect to His Royal Highness during his visit to this colony:— The Hon. Edward William Stafford Theodore M. Haultain John Hall ;.r •• James C. Richmond ' J. C. L. Richardson v< ; • John Hyde Harris - , Thomas Houghton Bartley .
