Per Prosperity—lso tons coal, Westport Coal Company. g Captain Fraser, of the Merksworth, obligingly furnishes the following report: The Merksworth left here at 3 o'clock on the afternoon of January 12th, with a cargo of coal for Port Chalmers, and arrived there at noon on Sunday, 15th. Discharged the coal and left for Westport at 2 o'clock in the afternoon of Tuesday, 17th, and anchored off the bar at 1 o'clock this (Friday) morning, thus making the passage from Port Chalmers to the Buller in 59 hours. Experienced line weather all round. The barque Celestia, from Westport, arrived off Manakau Heads on Tuesday, crossed the bar on Wednesday, and arrived at Onehunga on Thursday night.
