During the week 71500z of gold have been received from the Thames. A crushing from the Takatea of 250 tons realised 2100ozs. A dividend will be paid on Thursday. The Una also pay a dividend on Thursday, and the Caledonian and Thames, another dividend on Wednesday. A new company, named the Albion, has been formed which embraces the Poverty, Charleston, and Kelly's and Belfast, adjoining the Caledonian. Tho merchants contemplate forming a whaling company. A barque is is heing fitted out as a whaler. The Earl and Countess Belmore ar-
rived by the Hero and are the guests of the Governor. The Luna will leave about the 9th with the Governor's furniture. The - Great World Circus is performing to crowded houses. Arrived:—Merlin and Seagull at Auckland from Fijis; Hero from Sydney, four and a half days out; Star of the South, from Napier.
