11HE NELSON GOLDFIELDS' ALMANAC AND DIRECTORY FOU 1871, Will be published at the "WESTPORT TIMES" OFFICE ON OE ABOUT DECEMBER 15. The publishers have determined upon making this Almanac a Large and Complete Volume, containing much useful and necessary information for all classes in the Colony. TO COMMERCIAL MEN. The Almanac will be found to contain the most requisite and reliable references as to Stamp Duties, Law Items, Tariff Duties, Official and Trade Directory, Customs Revenue, Imports, and Exports, Mail Routes, Couri Sittings, Harbor and Port Regulations, Post Office and Telegraphic Charges and Intelligence, and many useful tables for business purposes. TO MINERS. This publication will be invaluable as containing the Mining Regulations for the South-West Goldfields, Mining Leases for same, Mining Companies Limited Liability Acts, with all the recent Amendments ; Gold Ready Reckoner, &c. TO AGRICULTURISTS. A carefully compiled Farm and Garden Calendar will be given, also the Agricultural Leases, and many useful hints, recipes, and general observations. TO THE PUBLIC. A specially prepared Calendar will be published, from the Nautical Almanac for 1871,* which has been calculated and reduced to the Meridian of Westport. A chronoligical list of late and recent events, comprising sixteen pages. The Electoral Roll for the District of Westland North, particulars of registration of Births, Marriages, and Deaths; Itinerary of Distances ; particulars of Nuggets found in Victoria, California, and other gold producing countries, giving the weights and values; Statistical Tables ; the Census, and a variety of general memoranda.
