Mr John Gray, timber merchant, Dunedin, has filed his schedule. His liabilities are £ 12,000. He has offered a composition of Us 6d. Messrs Samuel House and Co., flour and corn dealers, Melbourne, show liabilities amounting to £16,844, while the assets, consisting of atock and book debts, were estimated at J53990, leaving a deficiency of £7Si>4. They propose 10s in the pound, by instalments.
