Leslie; 3 kegs butter, Falla. The p.s. Charles Edward loft Greymouth on Tuesday last, arriving at Westport shortly before midnight. She brought a quantity of coal for Messrs Freeth and Grcig, which was particularly welcome, tho supply of that fuel for some timohaving been entirely exhausted, and sailed for Nelson yesterday at 3 p.m. Tho s.s. Wanganui left Wanganui on Monday, and arrived at Westport about midnight on Tuesday, with a cargo of cattle and sheep, consigned to Messrs Dick and Seaton. She sailed for Wellington and Wanganui yesterday at 2.30 p.m. The s.s. Kennedy arrived at Westport yesday at noon, having left Nelson on Tuesday at 1 p.m., and sailed at 3 p.m. for llokitika. The schooner Aspasia sailed from Lyttelton on Thursday', and arrived off the .Buller on Monday last. She crossed tho bar in tow of the steamer Kennedy yesterday, and brings a cargo of general produce consigned to Messrs Bailie and Humphrey. The schooner Three Friends arrivrd at Westport from Brighton yesterday, at 1 p.m. By the arrival of tho s.s. Wanganui, we learn that the brig Lady Denison, recently stranded at tho entrance to the Wanganui river was got off on Saturday. Fears are entertained of tho safety of the Lord Ashley. A Wellington telegram of the 12th states that she had been five days out from Napier, and no tidings had been received ot her. The s.s. Airedale with European mails, via San Francisco, arrived at Nelson from Auckland on Tuesday. The schooner W. S. Munday arrived in Lyttelton on the 9th, with a cargo of coal from Charleston. The Waterman now in the roadstead, has made one of the fastest passages from Melbourne on record. She left Melbourne on the sth, cleared the Heads on tho 7th, and was spoken 120 miles off llokitika on Thursday, the 11th.— Grey Argus. The s.s. Claud Hamilton was announced to leave Melbourne for New Zealand ports via the Bluff on the 18th, so that sho may bo expected here about tho 25th. BF ELECTRIC TELEGRAPII. ARRIVALS.
