Kennedy, s.s., 125 tons, Whitwell, from Nelson. W. J. Willcocks agent. DEPARTURES. July 27—St Kilda, s.s., Allison, for Wanganui and Auckland. Murray, s.s., Palmer, for Nelson. W. S. Munday, Hiiy, for Charleston. PASSENGER LIST. Per Murray, from Greymouth—Misses Stokes (2), Messrs Paul, Harris, Hodgson, Brandon, Cooper, and Alexander. IMPORTS. Per St Kilda, from Wanganui—46 head c.ttle, 250 sheep, 50 pigs, 10 calves, 2 tons potatoes, Dick and Seaton; 2 cases bacon, Btitt Bros. Per Murray, from Greymouth—l trunk boots, 1 box grindery, Simpson; 3 bdls trees, Field. Per Storm Bird, from Wanganui—3o head cattle, 130 sheep, 1 calf, 1 ton potatoes, 1 ton bran, Freeth and Greig. The s.s. Murray, Captain Palmer, arrived at Westport from Greymouth on Tuesday evening, and sailed the following morning at ten o'clock. The s.s. St Kilda for Wanganui and Auckland left yesterday at 8.30 a.m. The s.s. St rm Bird, Captain Doile, arrived in the roadstead from Wanganui on Tuesday, at 9 p.m., and crossed the bar the following morning. Her cargo, consisting of cattle, sheep, and produce, is consigned to Messrs Freeth and Greig. The Storm Bird is announced to sail for Nelson and Wanganui, weather permitting, at 10 a.m. this day. The schooner Three Friends, we are informed, I', as sailed from Charleston for Westport. The W. S. Munday ran aground on the North Spit on Tuesday, but was got clear yesterday morning, and proceeded to Charleston. The cutter Satellite sailed from Wanganui yesterday with a cargo of produce for Charleston. On leaving the latter port, she will be despatched to West Wanganui for a cargo of coal for Westport. The coal in that locality is said to be as good a quality and equally saleable as the Grey coal.
