The s.s. Waipara, Captain Bascand, arrived atWestport on Wednesday, at 10 p.m., and sailed the following morning for southern ports. The s.s. Kennedy, Captain Whitwell, left Greymouth on Thursday morning, and arrived at Westport the same evening. She sailed the same tide for Nelson -with a large number of passengers. The s.s. "Wanganui, a vessel chartered by Wanganui yesterday at noon, having lett that port on Wednesday evening. She discharged her live freight in excellent condition, and left about midnight for Wanganui.
